I was walking past St. Francis Square earlier on my way home from work and finally, I couldn’t resist the numerous accessories sold in the various stalls there. I decided to look around and see if I wanted anything. As expected, I found some things I liked. I gave myself a budget of PHP500 and after some haggling, I finally bought these things:
1. Spike Bracelets
I’ve been looking for something like these for a while now but the ones I saw at the mall were too expensive and not of very good quality. I’m glad I finally bought myself some of these. The single strand cost me PHP80, while the double – stranded spikes cost me PHP150
There were plenty of other colors from dark plums to neons but I opted for these two basic which I can mix and match with my other pieces. 🙂
2. Studded Leather Wrap-around Bracelet
Next pick was this studded leather wrap-around bracelet reminiscent of the bands made popular by Hermes. This also comes in different colors but I found this particular shade of blue the most attractive. This, by the way, is PHP12o each.
3. Chunky Dangling Necklace
The striking combination of colors in this pretty necklace caught my eyes first. I couldn’t help but be drawn to it! I could add this as the statement piece to a simple outfit.
Overall, I was PHP30 over my intended budget but it’s not so bad right? For that amount, I got four new additions to my accessories collection. 🙂
Now on the more exciting part of this post. Well, exciting for me. Do you guys watch FAWN Inc.’s Haul or Nothing? I kinda like the idea of it and want to apply something similar here. Now, if you would be so kind, please leave a comment below stating a haul challenge that you want me to do. For example, you can say, “I want to buy two pairs of shoes to add to my collection but my budget is only PHP1000. One pair has to be for going out and the other more casual. Please do a haul!”
If I decide to take on your challenge, I will do exactly as you request. This way, I can give you ideas of where to buy stuff for a certain budget. I plan to do this once a month. What do you guys think? 🙂
