Wild Night at Il Terrazo’s Ignite

Being a home buddy, I rarely ever go out. Most of the time, I’d rather be in bed than make the effort to leave the house. My boyfriend calls be lazy pants and I guess he’s right. Unlike most people, rarely do I think, “It’s such a shame to waste such a lovely day by staying in bed.” Instead, every free day for me is an opportunity to relax and catch up on the books I have yet to finish and the shows I have missed.

Last Friday though, I finally felt the need to party. Work was stressing me out and I thought a few drops of alcohol will do me some good so I dressed up for the occasion and invited my friends to come along.

I got this dress a few months back from The Ramp Crossings at Trinoma. It’s from a brand called Apartment. I loved the color and bow neckline so I had to have it. That night, I paired it with my Parisian platforms, a thrifted bag, my new bangles from Kai, and a pair of dangling leaf earrings.

Off we went to Ignite, a party launching Il Terrazo as one of the hottest party place in Tomas Morato, Quezon City. When we arrived, DJ Callum David was on the podium mixing some really cool tracks. We couldn’t help but move along to the beat. Plus, he was so pleasing to look at. :3

I was shy about taking his photo because no one else seemed to be taking it so I stopped myself from doing so. Hahahaha

By the time the clock struck 12, we were all tipsy in a major way! I remember we were all dancing like there’s no tomorrow. It was so much fun! Hahahahaha πŸ˜€ If there’s one thing I enjoy about partying, it’s dancing my heart out with friends, even though I don’t claim to be much a dancer. It’s just so much fun when inhibitions are down and you can just move to the music without any care in the world.

At heart, I really am a party girl. One who cannot hold her liquor, apparently. In fairness to myself, though, I still remembered to brush my teeth and wash my face before crashing into bed. Hahaha πŸ™‚

My thanks to Mikki Galang for inviting me, my cousin Mark for taking care of us, and Zel and Rovie for making the party so much fun! πŸ™‚

How about you, dear readers? Do you enjoy partying? What did you do last Friday?

  1. I can’t remember the last time I went to a club or bar. That was millennia ago, I think! I’m also the type who prefers staying home. But it doesn’t hurt to let loose and party once in a while, right? πŸ˜‰

I love your dress and the whole look! You should party more often πŸ™‚
