When I went to work last Monday, a lot of people didn’t recognize me. People are so used to seeing my in my high heels that my ballet flats, coupled with my new do, completely threw them off. I felt like the new girl. I felt great! 🙂
Sometimes, don’t you just want to create a new identity for yourself? To shake off all the preconceived notions people have about you and completely take them by surprise? I often feel the need to do that. There is joy in un-boxing oneself and finding the surprise hidden underneath. 🙂
Last Sunday, I was at Trinoma with my aunt because we were planning to watch Bourne Legacy. As we were walking to the cinema, we both got sidetracked by the various things we saw on the way. I, in particular, went to Landmark and saw this interesting peachy cream top with the asymmetrical hem. I thought the cut very interesting and I like how it effortlessly clung to the mannequin so I bought it for myself.
I paired it with my new flats from Parisian and my tribal printed knit skirt from Forever 21. The black cardigan and the necklace complete the entire look.
- Cardigan – thrifted
- Top – February Love at Landmark, Trinoma
- Skirt – Forever 21
- Shoes – Parisian at SM Megamall
By the way, today I had a talk with a nutritionist for work and she basically inspired me to start working out. I shall really start getting serious with Zumba because dance is the only workout I enjoy at the moment.
How about you guys? Are you working out? What’s your fitness regime?
