Vanilla Bean and Butterscotch

I was a firm believer of pheromones until I discovered Victoria’s Secret Vanilla Lace. I remember first smelling it when I was in high school. It was my best friend’s perfume. Everyone, including myself, loved it because it smelled like freshly baked donuts. Since then, I’ve become quite addicted to the smell of vanilla and can abide no other scent except for it.

Just recently, I got acquainted with Snoe Beauty Inc’s Body Ritual Recipes Scrumptious Body Spritz in Vanilla Bean and Butterscotch. It’s much cheaper than Victoria’s Secret at PHP249 but it smells just as good!

Because it presumably has butterscotch too in addition to the vanilla bean, it’s scent has a slightly different nuance in comparison to the usual vanilla perfumes. I have a bottle of pure vanilla scent at home and it has a slight tang as its endnote. This “tang” can be overpowering sometimes.

Snoe’s Vanilla Bean and Butterscotch spray, however, smells sweet throughout. The essence of butterscotch, I guess, gives it that melted sugar scent that blends so well with vanilla. Believe me when I say that I sometimes feel like I’m a walking cake, which is a good thing for me. In short, I feel like I smell good enough to eat! πŸ™‚

I shared my bottle with my mom and she loved it as well. I guess you can say that we’re both vanilla fans. Β Her dresser is full of Victoria’s Secret body sprays in different vanilla blends. Since this is much cheaper than VS, I think I have convinced her to shift to this one.

The clincher was when I told her that the scent lasted all day. Sometimes, the problem with body sprays (and cheap ones at that) is that the scent only last for a couple of minutes. This one, however, sticks all day long. When I spray this in the morning (around 9:30AM), I can still smell the scent on my clothes at the end of the day (about 8-9PM). This makes me reluctant to change my clothes, actually. πŸ˜€

The great news is this scent also has lotionand body wash counterparts for a complete vanilla bean and butterscotch bathing experience! πŸ™‚ I love it when my soap, lotion, and body spray match in scent. I think that makes the smell last longer.

If you’re not a fan of vanilla scents however, this body spritz comes in other delicious flavors – Honey Dew Lemon Yogurt, Passion Fruit Parfait, Tropical Cocktail, Nectarine Ginger Tea, and Strawberry Smoothie. πŸ™‚

  1. We’re pretty much the same when it comes to preference for anything vanilla. My first vanilla perfume was Vanilla Musk by Coty. This was my signature scent when I was in high school all the way until college.

Then I discovered Vanilla Lace, BBW’s Warm Vanilla Sugar and Vanilla Bean Noel. And Dior’s Hypnotic Poison, too! πŸ™‚

Thanks for posting this. Will surely try this one out. πŸ™‚

  2. Great choice mich! :)) Fragrance longevity depends on the person’s body chemistry. If you’re naturally the oily type, tendency is the fragrance will last long. πŸ™‚ for people with dry skin, they’ll have to apply lotion then spritz on a scent to make it cling longer πŸ™‚

  3. I like scents but I stay away from yummy-smelling ones like this ’cause it’s super hard to resist not eating/drinking it! Sorry for being weird, but I always get tempted to eat/drink anything that smells edible XD
