Lips of the Day: Poppin’ Fuchsia from Revlon

People who have followed this blog from the very beginning would have noticed my love Revlon. I particularly go crazy over their lipsticks. Whenever I go to their counters, I’d come home with a new color to enjoy. 🙂

This time around, I got one from their latest collection – a Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in #30 Fuchsia. One thing I love about the new line is the packaging! The crisscross pattern looks rich and luxurious – a step up from the usually simple packaging of drugstore brands. The brand “Revlon” is also embossed on the bullet, which I like because it reminds me of Chanel. 🙂

Is anyone else loving that bright, popping fuchsia? I am! I’ve been lusting after a fuchsia like this after I’ve seen Tanya Burr of pixi2woo use a similar color in one of her tutorials.

I truly believe in the power of a bold lipstick like this one to give confidence. Put this on and you will instantly feel sexy and special.

Here’s my attempt at a swatch to help give you a better idea of the color. As you can see, this lipstick is highly pigmented yet at the same time, it has the right touch of moistness to it.

And here’s me feeling the lipstick! Hahaha… Sorry, I’m still using my webcam to take these photos and they are not that high quality. 🙂

This lipstick cost me PHP575, by the way. A good price for a great quality lipstick. Have any of you tried a Revlon lipstick yet? What do you think?
