This week is going to be all about the lips because I noticed I have loads of pending posts pertaining to lip products. Because I’ve been lazy, I’m starting this week today and my first product would be from IN2IT.
For years, I thought IN2IT was a Japanese brand. That’s what the sales lady told me. Apparently, upon doing my research, I found out that it’s produced by a Hong Kong-based company, selling products in Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines. The brand is most well-known for its eyeliners and eye shadow palettes.
Should really have done my research before buying because I got one of their lipsticks as my first purchase. If only I knew, I would have tried their liquid eyeliner. But alas, I must review what I have on hand. Better save the eyeliners for next time. 🙂
Stupid me, I based the color on this sticker at the bottom, thinking that the lipstick would be the same beautiful, pale pink. I guess I was in a hurry at that time too so I didn’t swatch before buying.
Lo and behold, it’s a darker shade of pink, with a translucent and shimmery finish. Not what I was expecting, to be honest, but not bad either.
This particular piece was from their Moisture Intense line, which is said to be, “True color and high coverage.” – Don’t agree on the true color and I would say medium to sheer coverage.
Their website also claims that this product has moisturizing beads that are released into the lips while it’s being worn. – I say it is moisturizing, in all fairness.
Moreover, it’s said to be waterproof and long-lasting. – Don’t think it’s waterproof, nor does it last that long. Pretty much just like any other lipstick in terms of how long it stays on the lips.
Lastly, this product also has an SPF of 15 to protect the lips from the sun, which is a redeeming characteristic for me.
Final Verdict: I think it’s an OK lipstick but not really something I’d rave about. Just average, over-all.
To those interested, IN2IT is available in Watson’s, SM Department Store, Robinson’s Department Store, and Landmark.
