This birthday weekend, I chose not to lock myself up in my room like I usually do and instead, went out and had some fun. Besides partying til dawn last Saturday night, I also went to two gorgeous places which I absolutely love!
First, we went to the Meralco Management and Leadership Development Center (MMLDC) in Antipolo. It’s a 10-hectare complex along Sumolong Highway that holds a training center, hotel and dormitory, restaurant and aviary to name a few. It was a rainy Saturday afternoon so I wasn’t able to walk around and take pictures. I only have this video clip while we were driving around the complex. Please ignore the radio commentary. 😀
I shall make a separate blog post about our early dinner there but what I loved most about the place was how green and lush it looked. There was also an amazing pine tree there built out of copper! It was huge and awesome! 🙂
Then today, we went back to Timberland Heights to bring my aunt who was here in Manila from Zamboanga for a seminar. Again, the beauty of the place got to me. The echoing silence as I stood watching the city, only occasionally disturbed by airplanes passing, was very calming.
Let’s not forget the infinity pool! So pretty! I’m sure my phone camera doesn’t do it any justice.
We couldn’t leave before dropping by the Ridge Cafe to avail of this week’s buffet, which was a Mongolian feast. I was only able to take a video of the salad bar before my fone ran out of battery. Haha. 😀
Anyway, I thought I’d just make this quick post of my adventures this weekend. More posts to come this week! 🙂
