“Why settle for the good life when you can have the a!life?”
Such is the call to action from a!life, Pascual Laboratories’ new line of consumer health care products specifically crafted to answer to the needs of modern women.
This exciting new line of products was formally launched to the public last 9 June 2011 at Tian-di Heaven and Earth Urban Spa, located in the heart of San Juan. The venue is a beautiful 1920s mansion, renovated and brought to new life by ambitious entrepreneur, Steven Uy.
Its elegant facade and posh interiors make it the perfect setting for the event aptly entitled, “Ladies First,” as it aims to put women first by prioritizing their health and well-being.
Delighting the audience with her new honey-colored hair, Bianca Valerio from Lifestyle Network’s FASH hosted the event. Her animated personality and amusing wit brought much life to the program. 🙂
In addition to the products, the gorgeous celebrity ambassadors for a!life were also introduced, including theater actress Lexie Schultze, Congresswoman Lucy Torres-Gomez, beauty queen Patty Bettita, the first Filipino to be a certified surf instructor – Lorraine Lapus, and TV5 news personality Shawn Yao.
The complete a!life line-up comprises of the following variants:
a!life Control contains Phase 2 White Bean Extract that helps block 60% of the carbohydrates taken in by the body. This is particularly helpful especially to those who want to lose weight. The good thing about it is that it doesn’t produce disgusting side effects, e.g. oily poop.
As a person grows older, the amount of healthy bone cells produced by his/her body decreases. This is especially true for women who have reached menopause. The results of this is osteoporosis or brittle bones. Thus, supplements like a!life Posture is necessary because unlike other products it contains not only Calcium but also Ostivone, the only natural non-hormonal nutrient that inhibits the loss of healthy bone cells while also stimulating the growth of healthy ones.
For women who are always on the go, there’s a!life Energy. It contains Malunggay, a nutrient-loaded natural energy booster, that’s sure to give that extra push needed to get things done. With this on hand, there’s no stopping any woman from getting ahead.
Meanwhile, for women who are constantly exposed to pollution and stress, the Pycnogenol found in a!life Protect will surely defend the body against sickness. Pycnogenol is a natural plant extract that’s well-researched as an antioxidant that helps the immune system fight free radicals to keep one healthy and promotes fairer skin by protecting it against harmful UV rays.
a!life Trim, on the other hand, is good for people who wish to control their sugar levels as it contains Ampalaya and Banaba. Taking this regularly will help diabetics stay healthy while also keeping the figure trim.
Last but not the least, a!life also has a variant for women who wish to defy the signs of aging. With a!life Restore, the skin is moisturized from inside – out because of Injuv, a hyaluronic acid that hydrates the skin and smoothens out wrinkles. Usually, 50% of the hyaluronic produced by the body is excreted immediately within 24 hours. The Injuv in a!life Restore, however, is immediately absorbed by the skin thus making its use much more efficient.
After the products and brand ambassadors were introduced, the guests were led to different rooms where they got to experience the products up-close with activities meant to equip women with the knowledge on how to better keep themselves healthy. The above picture, for instance, is of “Glow by Exfoliation,” a do-it-yourself coffee scrub making activity facilitated by beauty blogger, Martha Sta. Barbara.
Before the event ended, I was lucky enough to have my picture taken with one of a!life’s ambassadors, Lexie Schultze. She was really pretty and nice in person. Too bad I look frazzled and a bit worse for wear in the photo. I have been running all day long making sure everything was going well with the event.
Incidentally, this is the first event I helped mount. I’m so happy everything went well.
Just like everyone who attended the event, I’m so glad that Pascual came out with a!life. It truly is a product that can give us women health that lets us shine brighter!
