Haul: Thrifted Clothes

I really LOVE and ENJOY going to thrift stores and scouring through racks and racks of discarded clothes to uncover some hidden treasures. My proudest finds include an Anna Sui top and a Nina Ricci sling bag. Last Saturday, I bought several items, which I very much adore, and I thought I’d share them with you all.

Anonas Haul

Here are the things I got from the Anonas shop. I wrote about it and have some pictures of the place in my previous post.

Thrift stores are one of the best places to get some cardigans. I’m always on the look out for some because I wear cardis almost every day. It’s a great way to make my dresses more office-friendly and at the same time, keep my warm. I liked this particular cropped knit cardi, because it had knitted umbrella patterns on it. It’s not visible from the picture but I swear it’s really cute!

I also got this awesome chiffon, flower-patterned dress, which is right up my street! I love dresses, flowers, lace, chiffon, and all things girly so I nearly swooned when I saw this! Just talking about it makes me excited! πŸ™‚ Good job it fit me well. It just needs a belt to help emphasize my waist. Throw in some kick-ass shoes and then I’m ready to go.

I super love the hem on this one. It’s tierred chiffon with the black lace just peeping beneath.

The same is repeated on the sleeves. πŸ˜€ (Whoops, need to cut out that dangling thread.)

Also from the same shop, I got this (what I’d like to call) black widow dress. What I like about it is that it’s made from a light material, it’s sheer in the right places, and the ruffle detailing is adorable.

I’m not sure if it’s visible to you but if you look closely, you’ll tidy little ruffles running down the front and in the middle would be a row of cute black buttons. This dress is a bit too big for me but it has belt hoops around the waist so I can easily cinch the waist to make it fit better.

For these three items, I paid a total of PHP230. Such a great deal!

Raberly Haul

The items from this shop were a bit more expensive. But I gladly paid for the things I found because they were very worth it. Like this pair of leggings with a cut-out star in pleather detail.

I thought these were so cool.

A closer look at the detail if my rubbish fone camera allows it.

Then these lovely patterned skirts with wide, elastic waist bands! I can really imagine myself wearing these. πŸ™‚

These three items cost me about PHP45o.

I shall take some fotos when I finally get to wear these clothes out. I’m so excited! πŸ™‚

That’s it, then. Hope everyone’s week starts right! xxx
