I fell in love with Moschino when I saw their Spring/Summer 2010 Cheap and Chic collection down the runway. The clothes and accessories were fun, quirky, and right up my street.
The show itself was very entertaining too with the dramatic tilted heart as backdrop and upbeat oldies music playing. But the highlight of the show were really the clothes that bounced effortlessly as the models strutted their stuff.
And of course, this flower sunglasses that I still want even after a year has passed! 😀
On the strength of this collection alone, I subscribed to their website and followed them on Facebook for updates . This is how I got their latest newsletter on my email today. To my disappointment, I didn’t like the S/S collection this year as much. I thought they bordered on gaudy.
I do like that Moschino is bold, fun, and quirky. But the huge flowers and clashing prints in this collection are a bit too much. I don’t know if it’s just me, though. What do you guys think?
All is not lost, however, as some of the clothes are attractive. I find it amusing that subconsciously, my top picks are all in black and have little pattern. My senses are rebelling! 🙂
The bags are also so, so adorable! Here’s the Moschino magic that I loved from the previous S/S collection. I really want the striped one with the sailboat! It’s soooo cute!
Despite the faults of this latest collection, though, I still love Moschino. Looking forward to their next collections! 😀
